Beyond
Just beyond Fuente de Vida, the Costa Brava opens up. A landscape of rugged coastline, quiet forests, and small towns — varied, open, and all within easy reach.
The coast
Follow the Camí de Ronda, a coastal path that winds past cliffs, coves and hidden beaches. Walk for a while, stop along the way. The coast is only 2 km away. Spend the day swim/sail/surf/kayak, or just relax at the beach. Hike or bike through rolling hills and pine forests. The Costa Brava is also well known for cycling, with quiet inland roads, coastal routes, and forest trails that can be explored by road bike or mountain bike, starting directly from the surroundings.
Sant Feliu de Guixols
Sant Feliu de Guíxols is a coastal town with a lived-in, local feel. Cafés, small shops, and restaurants are spread throughout the centre, most of them open year-round. Life here moves steadily throughout the year — quieter in the off-season, more lively in summer.
The region
Explore nearby villages like Begur, Pals, Llafranc, Palamós, or Peratallada — each with its own charm, cobbled streets, local restaurants, markets and plazas. Wander through the charming medieval streets lined with old stone houses, whitewashed façades, and colorful fishing boats. Visit one of the art museums, centuries-old monasteries, or explore hilltop villages where the view goes on and on. You'll find many spots that are wild and small-scale — a beautiful blend of rugged coastline and peaceful seclusion.
