Our story

A place shaped over time

In search of a hideaway for our family four years ago, we came across a ruin. No electricity, no sewage, no drinking water. Only when it rained, the water would find it’s way inside. There were just stone walls, silence, and a sense of possibility. We decided to dive in and bring it back to life— without fully knowing what we were getting ourselves into.

Through hands-on work, patience, and learning to move with a different pace. The land was cleared, the forest opened up, and the house restored — step by step.

Along the way, it became more than a project. It became a place to live differently. Closer to nature, guided by the seasons, and shaped by simplicity.

A place where days unfold more slowly. Where there is space to think, to create, and to be together. In that process, the place shaped us as much as we shaped it. Over these years, we have shared it with others — through stays, gatherings, and many long conversations around a table.

Now, we are opening it up more intentionally. For those looking to step away for a while. To create, to reconnect, or to bring people together in a meaningful way.

Fuente de Vida is a place to arrive, settle in, and experience a different rhythm.
